Instructions are self-explanatory with the numbered sections, although I still wondered how far back to put piece number one, so there is a little bit of a learning curve. I find it best to have a partner assist with application. Product works best on fresh, clean skin (After showering, I then alcohol swabbed mine ) and can last several days. Ankles feel comfortable, yet just that little extra support needed while I am healing both ankles with small fractures. I use these for added support when going out.
This review is for the beige tape. When applied to clean, dry skin, the adhesion is excellent, to the point that removing even after a number of days of wear with daily showers is not easy--a significant gluey residue left on skin, the removal of which required repeated applications of oil and vigorous scrubbing. As others have noted, it is somewhat challenging to apply and there is a learning curve in mastering the hang of it. Having said all of that, I am so far loving this product for the excellent support it provides my two bum ankles, without the bulk and discomfort of a brace. I have used a number of different brands of k-tape for many, many years in order to keep my ankles functional and this is by far the best product I have found. I expect I'll be ordering more.
The concept is good. I thought this would be quick easy and adheres well. I found that it did adhere but it wasn't easy. The steps were printed out which was terrific but becuz the perforations were not where they should have been or in smaller sections the tape stuck together and the support was not there. It often folded over in itself. I will be going back to the toll of tape perforated at 6-8”.
I have had ankle surgery and my arches fell. I was wearing a full brace and now I can walk around with this tape paired with compress socks and have enough stability and no pain! So happy, my shoe options went up since I could not fit the brace i. All of my shoes. Kt tape is amazing and this precut is so quick. Stays on for days!
It's ok for support but it is not Kinesiology tape, does not stretch doesn't have the same effect as the Kinesiology tape. It is difficult to put on I had to cut it in the middle and make it a 2 piece so i can stick it better. Ive been using kinesiology tape for diff parts of my body for about 10 years so i have tested almost every brand.
Easy to use and worked as well as rigid braces!
Works great, but needs better directions, not just photos that are up for interpretation.
Once I figured out how to out it on it works very well. I went online to OK tape to get the video. I was doing the first step wrong. It has good stabilizing support and is not bulky to make shoes hard to put on like most braces do.
