New DVD played flawlessly.
This is an outstanding 80's action/martial arts movie. It highlights excellent character traits such as determination and perseverance. You feel invested in the success of the lead character Frank Dux. It's just a nice piece of cinematic nostalgia that you can share with the next generation. I have not watched Ninja Assassin yet, so I have no opinion on the second movie in the double feature.
