So I initially heard about these tabs from a workout facebook page I follow (specifically, the Peloton Official Riders Page), and thought I would give them a try. Apparently, these are the same energy tabs that some of the instructors use during their live classes. So, if it's good enough for them, it should be good enough for me, right? The first thing I noticed was how big the tabs are! Like, so big they don't fit through the opening of a standard plastic water bottle. So, I had to bite it in half (it has a line down the middle, so they are pretty easy to break). As I quickly learned, these are fizzy tabs. While they are first dissolving, the water maintains a fairly clear appearance, and slowly becomes more opaque and colored (depending on which tabs you get). It takes about a minute and a half to fully dissolve one tab.As for the taste, it's... interesting. I've been using the wild berry ones, and they have a diluted, weird taste. Not bad, but not at all sweet. They actually taste healthy, lol! Very similar to lightly flavored water (like only putting one or two drops of Mio in an entire bottle of water). So, not bad in any way, just very light.Energy-wise, I think these work. I'm no scientist, but I did "feel" like I had more energy. The mind is very powerful and capable of placebo affects, so who knows if it was actually energizing me, or just making my mind think it was being energized. Either way, I felt good, so yay! And the electrolytes are always helpful.Overall, I like these and will probably keep using them for my more difficult rides. And, it helps to feel trendy just like the Peloton instructors :)

I would buy more, more often, if they were cheaper. I've tried several other electrolyte products and these are my favorite by far.The flavor is not overpowering as in most energy produdcts. It has a really good boost of energy before/during workouts.I don't feel bad or extremely thirsty from drinking these as opposed to the sugar that is in other popular products.I feel it has a good balance and thinking of replacing these with my current pre workout.

I'm a runner, and I have a Nathan backpack hydration pack. It had a horrible plasticky taste that wouldn't go away, no matter what I used to soak it or how many times I used it with plain tap water. I decided to try nuun from my local fleet feet (lime) and it got rid of the taste. I really dilute the tabs; my hydration bladder holds 2 liters and I'll use 2 tabs with the whole pack full so I can't comment on the taste when it's mixed according to directions, but diluted it tastes ok. Tastes better than plastic! This 4 pack is a much better deal than buying single tubes at a local store. Just be warned- these are effervescent. I learned that the hard way when I tried it one time in my Nathan hand flask with the speed draw cap on it. Every time I my foot hit the road the water would explode through the cap because of the pressure. I've had no problems with the pressure in the hydration bladder, and I can't comment on how it would work on a standard water bottle.

A good product. This adds electrolytes and other goodies to drinking water without adding sugar or strong, fake flavors. The plastic tubes that it comes in are easy to put in a bag or pocket. I use these for hikes. The last such product I used came in a plastic bottle and had to be carefully measured out and added to a water bottle. With this, you just drop in a tablet.

After years of traveling to foreign countries with no gastric issues, my husband and I both wound up with food poisoning during a trip to the Dominican. My husband was not snaping back and I knew he needed some hydration support and I had a difficult time at our isolated resort trying to find gatorade to replenish his electrolytes, and when I finally did it was horribly expensive! Soon as we got home I began an online search for powdered electrolyte and found the Nuun tablets. Fortunately we have not had that unfortunate experience again, but we do not travel without a tube in the suitcase.I have since discovered the benefit to Nunn hydration during my twice weekly hot yoga classes. Plain water does not cut it with excessive sweating. I find my body recovers so much quicker just by dropping a tab in my 20 ounce thermo water bottle on my way out the door.I used to get sick after mowing the lawn of a really hot day, if I hydrate with electrolyte replacement the rest of my day isn’t ruined.Another recent discovery is that the Nunn tab is zero points on Weight Watchers Free Style ... 16 ounces regular Gatorade is 7 points, while G2 is 2 points. When helping my husband count points every little bit helps. (I believe the Nunn tab also has more electrolytes than Gatorade)Both my sons work construction and I make sure they have several tubes with them, especially working in midwestern hot, humid summers. There is always water on their jobsite so hydration electrolyte support is easy.Taste to me is just fine, other electrolyte drinks are to sugary sweet and I have to water them down, otherwise they make me feel sick. Not the Nunn tabs, not overpowering with sugar.

I had Nuun on one flask and another well-known brand on the other. Nuun was tasty and a delight to drink during the long long runs. I will know the effectiveness for my body in the numerous runs to come. But having a delightful flavour is one up already. Will update after the races.

Takes a while to fizzle into your water (typically I expect 2-3mins but no), so I typically do stuff & get back to it after 10mins.Has some chalky residue at the bottom of mug, likely to be filler material typically calcium bicarbonate or stuff like that to make up the table size. Those from "NOW Foods" via iHerb seems competitively priced and dissoves better so these 2 I alternate sometimes.
